
Diane Hewlett
Diane works with Laurel, our CFO, to make sure that the accounting duties for all of Merrymeeting’s companies are completed efficiently and correctly. These duties include preparing and overseeing daily general ledger entries, monthly and yearly financial statement preparation, fixed asset accounting, and assisting with the annual audit and various types of tax reporting issues.
Diane has a BS in Accountancy from Arizona State University and is a certified public accountant and certified management accountant. She also has a BS in Business Administration and French from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota.
Diane started at Frontier Adjusters as a Staff Accountant in 1998. Prior to that, she taught accounting for a bi-lingual program at a University near Madrid, Spain. Before getting her accounting degree, she worked as a travel agent in Florida.
